I have tattoo fever up in here right naw naw naw. (Rap track.) I am crazy for the ink and I don’t give a stink… (Just seeing where that one went.)
It might not seem like a big deal. A tattoo, who cares? Old news. But for me, its B-I-G. I’ve been anti-tattoo for my entire existence. I sometimes appreciate them on others, but I’ve never realistically considered taking the plunge myself. Well, one time. I was completely original in my idea to get a Chinese symbol around my ankle/top of my foot area. Again, really original. Luckily, one of my friends beat me to the punch and is now a walking advertisement for why young highschoolers are not supposed to do that shit. Her body screams “dead love” at every Chinese literate person she passes by. The truth is, most of the time I think tattoos look distasteful, unoriginal and disproportionate. I look at this permanent piece of art on a persons body and think, why did you do that? But that’s the whole point, tattoos are completely personal and it really doesn’t matter if someone other than yourself “gets it.” It’s for you. So, if I ever make my mind up on what I’d like to display, I have the perfect place for “it” on my body. Until then, I absolutely LOVE these design-friendly temporary tattoos by Tattly. I just ordered a few and cannot wait to put them in weird places.
Can’t handle the real thing, either? Find yourself some temporary gems at Tattly.
As always, I’ll tell you when I get paid for something. I didn’t get paid for this and now the whole world knows it.POSTED IN Design, DIY, Style, What's on my Mind
