I’ve been dying for wedge sneakers for a while now (along with every other trend loving sister out there). I love this particular pair of dunks for their perfectly in sync masculine and feminine hits. They dare to be called my favorite shoe (gasp). Paired with these crazy metallic skinnies, this outfit definitely caused some reactions. (Just like when I wore them at Alt with my leopard booties.) People stared. I mean really, is an outfit even worth it’s salt without a good eye roll here and there? My favorite was an old man that I breezed past on my way to lunch. He did a single. double. triple take. And then a gapping hole filled his mouth as he stared some more (long after I had passed him). I really hope he went on to tell every person he knew about the “crazy girl” he saw at lunch. #Success.

These “rerun” Levi cut offs are just too good. The details are unreal (I mean, just look at that wallet imprint on the back pocket…swoon). They truly are a piece of art with major #swag. I picked these up in New York at American Two Shot. You can find similar styles here by Denim Refinery. Obv mine are one of a kind, but they have other incredible pieces (these are my next purchase).  If you’re in New York and you haven’t been to American Two Shot then you’re failing at life. The place is chock full of inspiration. More on that later.

This blue kimono jacket reminds me so much of my Mom, I had to have it. It’s the perfect polished addition to cut offs and a tee, my summer skin.

Black & Yellow: Ok, let’s just get this over with. Two things come to mind with this combo: this song and a ridiculous bumble bee Halloween costume. Now that we’re past that (you can keep listening to the song) I want you to indulge me here.  Try it out, you’ll be surprised.  Ps. My favorite way to add yellow to my wardrobe? Colored shoe laces. It’s the easiest and most rewarding update. Also, just as I was finishing up this post, I found this mega amazing outfit. You’re hooked now, no going back.

Purple & Pink: News flash, barbie isn’t the only girl in town that can wear this color combo. The galaxy print pretty much solidified my love for this duo this season. This little dress is by far one of my favorite things I own. It’s really different from what I usually gravitate towards, so it helps me push my boundaries and I’m all about that. I wanted to dress it down a bit so I tied a knot on the side, to make the dress a bit shorter and give it those casual vibes. Our day in Brooklyn was probably my favorite. It had an intimate, yet big city vibe. The graffiti was nuts. Every single wall was tagged (my boyfriend pointed out to me several times, in case I was missing it) and I loved it. There’s something about a graffiti wall that speaks to my heart, I naturally gravitate towards them (especially for outfit pics, obvs).
