Daily Style Moment

Hi kids! Have you missed me? I’ve missed you! It’s not my intention to have such infrequent posts, but as I mentioned before, life is a bit chaotic. I find in times like these, you must force yourself to take time out just for you. No matter how much you tell yourself you can’t. Well, what do I do for myself in times of chaos, you ask?  I go to the library on my lunch break. I stay after class and chat with friends. I call my Mom. I make silly faces at my boyfriend. I have extremely amazing girl time with this gal.  I listen to “Call me Maybe” 3 times on repeat. I eat chicken biscuits from Chik-fil-a (thanks to our Intern, Mary, they have changed my life). I call my Dad. I dream about my big dreams. I walk to Starbucks. I organize my jewelry. I paint my nails. I watch crime shows. I sketch out crazy ideas. I read a book (currently, The Happiness Project. Do it). I paint furniture. I build furniture. I go to Ikea. I go to In-N-Out. I make a mint limeade …

I devour the interwebs for all things style. I love me that style juice…incredible outfits, intense color patterns, outrageous editorials, killer style blogs… do you get it? What’s in it for you? Well my dear friends, you will be getting frequent shots of hot-to-trot style moments RIGHT HERE. This shit just got real. Well get used to it, that inspiration love is just going to keep on a comin’.

Well, she nails it. Duh. Hello lucite shoes! I wishhhhh. But what really gets me all aflutter? That graphic tee with the statement necklace. Yep. She basically copied me, so I love her for it. Not really, but this is my jam ya’ll. I am madly in love with casual meets dressy. That small little detail that is always a shot in the dark but wins every time. The contrast is the yin to my yang and if I had my way I would wear a graphic tee and a statement necklace every day of my life. Dare me.
