Brand Spotlight: Des Petits Hauts

Lets talk. You have to know this. I am majorly and crazily in love with editorial fashion photos. I kid you not, some have caused drool. I mean I’m a natural drooler anyway, when I sleep, when I forget to close my mouth while eating… but this scenario happens to be my favorite.

I’m a sucker for pristine locations or extremely simple backgrounds with intense styling in both the clothing and in the set, those unexpected details don’t hurt either. In an effort to start creating more “editorial like” outfit posts for this blog, I started experimenting. I tested out a few tricks with these inspiring photos from Des Petits Hauts. My favorite trick was to use a type of double exposure to create quite the editorial and quirky feel I was seeking.
