Chances are, if you’ve been around the blog scene for a hot minute, you’ve already heard of Bib & Tuck. If you’re like me, and you’ve heard about it here and there but never dove in, you should. I got a sweet little email from the founders today and although I likely wasn’t the only one in the world to receive it, I liked it. So, I took some time tonight (in-between Olympic tears) to sign up for the site, scan the scene and get a vibe on the other users. The founders essentially gave us all the stylish sister we always wanted but never had.
I took this snapshot from this adorable video (and added a little photo editing love), where the founders Sari Azout and Sari Bibliowicz talk about their idea and how it became the Bib & Tuck site. This particular scene had me all aflutter. I mean, it really needs no explanation, but I’d like to give you one. I have major decorating brain right now and these freaking chairs are messing with my sanity. Barcelona chair (on the left) is a MAJOR want of mine (see my Loft to be Board). The white one, I hear, is very rare for us common folk to find. And the lovely beast on the right, you nameless goddess you, with your lucite frame and delicious light grey/blue cush, you stop it right now. If this chair has a name and you know it, I will give you electronic kisses and hugs for sharing such information with me. And a chocolate bar. I’ll stop. But the rug and the table too. Ok, I’m done.
Moving on to the clothing situation. Sari Bibliowicz (right) pretty much nails it. Hits the freaking ball out of the park and then does an extra lap just because she can. This is essentially my go-to outfit (cutoffs and a tee w/ statement necklace) but there is something about this that feels so different from my usual wear. It’s all things good.
The main point of this post is to point out how crazy I am and also how great Bib & Tuck is. Great concept and great execution. Claps for you two lovely creators. Look for some tucked items all up in some future outfit posts.
Note: Do I really need to say this? Probably not, but I will. This is not a sponsored post. The end.POSTED IN Home Design, Outfit Inspiration, Style
